Arnica Infused Oil
Description
Soothing Arnica Infused Oil is a great ingredient for your homemade formulations such as lotions, balms, ointments, creams, face and body oils and many more. It is famed for its soothing and relaxing properties. It is a welcome addition to massage oil blends, particularly for post workout massage. It can be used on its own or combined with other carrier oils and essential oils for use in massage.
We use Sunflower Oil as the base for all our infused oils, as it the perfect oil for macerating botanical extracts. It is a lightweight oil, with very little scent so it doesn’t affect the extract and it is rich in Omega 6 fatty acids, lecithin, phytosterols and vitamin E. Sunflower Oil is a great emollient and an effective moisturiser, hydrating and nourishing the skin. The therapeutic properties of the plant material are infused within the oil.

Massage
Arnica Infused Oil can be used on its own as a base for massage or you can combine it with another carrier oil and your favourite essential oils for a soothing massage oil blend. Sunflower Oil has a medium skin penetration rate, so it is ideal for use in massage as it stays on the skin the ideal amount of time to perform the massage without leaving it greasy. We love Ginger (#118) and Sweet Orange (#105) for a warming muscle rub.
Skincare
Arnica Infused can be used as a gentle make up remover. Simply apply to a cotton wool pad and sweep across your face and neck to remove dirt and make up.
Beauty Hack
Can be used in your homemade formulations, such as creams, lotions, balms, serums, body oils, ointments etc.
