How to Use
Dilution
Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, typically 20 drops or 1ml of essential oil to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Dilute Lemongrass at 0.6% of the finished blend. It is extremely potent. Can cause skin sensitivity if used undiluted.
Aromatherapy
Add a few drops to your diffuser or oil burner and immerse yourself in the powerful aromas. For a bug banishing diffuser blend add 3 drops of Citronella/ Lemongrass, 3 drops of Tea Tree and 2 drops of Lavender #102.
DIY Insect Repellent Spray
Add 10 drops of Citronella/Lemongrass, 10 drops of Tea Tree and 100ml of Witch Hazel #702 to a spray bottle to make your own simple bug repellent spray. Don’t forget to shake before use.
Green Cleaning
Multitasking Tea Tree is famous for its cleaning powers, you can use it in virtually any cleaning task from floors, toilets, sinks, to kitchen surfaces to laundry. Add 20 drops to a bucket of hot soapy water for floor mopping. Combine 10 drops with a cup of Sodium Bicarbonate #504 and pour down the toilet for a sparkly clean loo.
